What's up, I'm Sam! I started YesBroadway in 2016 to help audiences sort through the noise of what to see and what to get excited about on Broadway and theater all over the world.

YesBroadway started as a media company with the original goal of helping casual theatergoers avoid snoozefests and tourist traps, directing them instead towards shows that they will like even if they are "not that into Broadway". After a quick detour with a spin-off production company that helped produce Be More Chill both Off-Broadway and on, YesBroadway integrated marketing into its business strategy with a focus on social media + influencer marketing for Broadway shows, but we also head up campaigns for Off-Broadway theater companies, new musicals still in the workshop stage, and theater-adjacent brands all over the world. Within three months of launching the marketing agency arm of the company in 2018, we were already turning down new clients because demand for this kind of theater marketing was — and still is — so high.

In 2024, all three “branches” of YesBroadway champion fresh and exciting theater and help new audiences figure out what to see and what to get excited about in the realm of Broadway, theater, and live arts entertainment all over the world. 5 FUN FACTS ABOUT SAM:

I have both a Rent and a Be More Chill tattoo.

I saw the 6th preview of Hamilton Off-Broadway (street cred!) and then 10 more times total between Off-Broadway, Broadway, and the film on Disney+.

I speak French fluently and spent a decade as a French teacher for adults.

I love going to the lake or to the beach every weekend. My all-time favorite activity is stand up paddleboarding (SUP), especially when my dog Odie rides on the front of my board.

I love classic television, especially when it stars old-school Broadway divas.
