The Unsinkable Molly Brown is making its off-Broadway debut in New York since its Broadway premiere in 1960 thanks to a new Off-Broadway production by Transport Group. It’s the same great characters and music, being told from a totally new and more truthful story based on the life and bravery of real life Titanic survivor Margaret Tobin Brown. Leading the cast as Molly Brown is the dreamy Beth Malone (photo below), who I had the chance to sit down with at a recent sneak peek event of the show.

As Beth told me, this show is not a revival but a “revisal.” Rewritten from page one, this production “is going to be unexpected, inspirational, and people will leave feeling like they are on a joy bomb. It will inspire people to take action where there are injustices!”
