Hamlet is having a good year. In addition to being picked up at the West End later this summer, The Public will have a run of the Shakespeare classic. This one is directed by one of our faves Sam Gold, who is currently knocking it out of the park with The Glass Menagerie and A Doll House Part 2, both on Broadway.

Oscar Isaac, a Public veteran and seasoned Shakespearean, plays the title role of Hamlet in what is described as an "electrifyingly intimate new production of Shakespeare’s eternal drama". This production has been through the ringer, making headlines last summer for being canceled by one non-profit theater only to be picked up by another for a limited run. It is a highly anticipated production, with Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele) making his debut as Horatio.

Tickets go on presale April 12 at 10:00am EST for American Express Card Members, with general public tickets being available April 18 at 2:00pm EST. We expect this show to sell out IN MINUTES, so if you can get them at presale, DO IT!

Runs June 20 - September 3.
