Visionary young director Sammi Cannold and playwright Celine Song conspire together to stun the audience in this new play. Following a tradition of brave and revelatory work by New York Theater Workshop that seems to be Broadway’s newest funnel (Slave Play, Sing Street, Hadestown, and What The Constitution Means To Me), Endlings does not let its audience off easy.

What seems to be a story about a group of elderly Korean women who live on an island and dive daily to harvest seafood quickly reveals itself to be about something much more nuanced. A lovely bonus is the fact that you’re getting exquisite performances from every single cast member.
