Director Casey Nicholaw (who is known for his bright and energetic direction in shows like The Book of Mormon and Something Rotten) is aware that we know every word to every song from the Aladdin movie, so he knows he had a lot to live up to. The result is a total triumph. Disney Theatricals generally does a great job with adapting our favorite Disney movies into Broadway musicals and Aladdin is no exception. The best part? It is just as enjoyable for adults as it is for kids.
