Sometimes, a Broadway show works really great as theatrical concert-style storytelling. If you're ready for a night of dancing in the aisles, then you're going to have a blast at SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical. The lights are bright, the band sounds really good (and loud!), and the ensemble is jam-packed with extremely talented women of color performing hit after hit. This might just be the show with the best vocal performances on Broadway right now!
Three bona-fide stars play the Disco Queen herself at various stages in her life. Much of the story focuses on "Disco Donna" as played by Broadway dreamboat and 40 Under 40 star Ariana DeBose. There are triple threats in this world and then there are TRIPLE THREATS. Ariana is the latter. She makes A+ singing, A+ acting, and A+ dancing (she was the original bullet in Hamilton!) all seem effortless. Ariana is musical theater electricity personified! Donna Summer herself would be proud of her performance.

Broadway legend LaChanze plays "Diva Donna", sorting through her mega-success later in life. LaChanze shot to fame with the original production of Once On This Island in 1990 and her voice sounds just as good now as it must have back then. You'll enjoy every second of her iconic performance. She oozes with musical theater experience and power.
"Duckling Donna" is played by newcomer Storm Lever, who has a voice that you won't soon forget. We've got a future megastar here, folks!
Slide on some bellbottoms and head on over to the Lunt-Fontanne Theater for a disco-themed Broadway party! SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical is REALLY fun.
