It doesn't get fresher and more relevant than this! Dear Evan Hansen won the 2017 Tony Award® for Best Musical along with its radiant original stars Ben Platt and Rachel Bay Jones. This show is about finding the humanity inside of all of us as we live in an increasingly online world. The music is incredible and the performances are even better. There is a song in Act 2 that involves the entire audience weeping in unison. Bring a literal box of tissues!

Taylor Trensch from Hello, Dolly! is currently playing Evan with NYC theater favorite Alex Boniello as Connor. Check out a video of them performing a song from the show below.

Tickets for the Broadway production are very difficult to come by. They are now on sale through January 2019, though, so shoot for far-off dates and...Godspeed!

Also: a national tour starring Ben Levi Ross as Evan will launch in October 2018 at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The tour will go on to play more than 50 cities over a two-year period, including Los Angeles (Ahmanson Theater), San Francisco (The Curran), Las Vegas (The Smith Center), Chicago (Oriental Theatre), Atlanta (The Fox Theatre), Boston (The Boston Opera House) and many more.
