It takes a few minutes, or even a few weeks, after the curtain call to fully realize the subtle poignance and brilliance that is The Humans...but, rest assured, you realize it sooner or later. Hottie playwright Stephen Karam wrote this year's Tony winner for Best Play and perfectly captures the tension, love, and complex layers in a modern family. The small cast of 6 stuns with superb acting, including two Tony-winning performances by Jayne Houdyshell and Reed Birney. Check out the short clip on this page to get a quick glimpse of the raw realness of this play.

The Humans closes January 15 and tickets will be hard to get for the final two weeks, but do whatever you must to not miss this incredible piece of theater.
