Ensemble Studio Theatre's Mope explores a major problem in American society: toxic masculinity...and is not for the faint of heart. Full nudity and extremely graphic content produce very real and raw moments that have the audience laughing for much of the 90 minutes. The six actors are so good that you can't fathom that they are faking it and the dialogue is effortlessly genuine.

This play's surprising relevance lies in a white character's scapegoating of people of color and immigrants for his own plight. This is very much the moment we're living in and might even give us some insight as to how our current president may have gotten elected.

This is an intense, and sublime, night at the theater. Extended through February 19 and almost already sold out. Get tickets now!
