Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Christian Borle might be up TWICE in the Best Leading Actor in a Musical category this year at the Tonys - one possibly nomination for playing Willa Wonka himself in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and another for Falsettos. The London production of Charlie got rave reviews and ran for years on the West End. This show has the potential to be magical AF and tickets are already selling fast because of the brand recognition as well as it's in-demand leading star. Additional casting includes some huge Broadway names: John Rubenstein (OG Pippin) as Grandpa Joe, Emily Padgett as Mrs. Bucket, Jackie Hoffman and Michael Wartella and Mrs. and Mike Teavee, and superhottie F. Michael Haynie as Augustus Gloop. Starts March 28!
